WAWER

COMPLEX OF DETACHED HOUSES

location: Warszawa

surface area: 5 450 m²

project: 2018

The housing estate of single-family houses was designed in a green, quiet area of the Wawer district, near a small lake. Semi-detached buildings are located along an internal sheltered street. The alternating composition of the upper and lower blocks of houses forms a rhythm that creates a friendly character. A garden separated from the street is assigned to each house, and larger buildings also have sizable terraces on the top floor. The project includes the use of noble materials such as graphite sheets, warm-colored wood, and white plaster, which creates an elegant, modern color combination. Vertical, openwork wooden blinds, which were used to finish storage compartments and window recesses, create rich chiaroscuro effects.
