ARCHITECTURAL AND URBAN PROJECT

A urban and architectural project is located in the area of the old “Praga locomotive depot”, one of the oldest architectural objects of the railway junction. The project consists of 28 buildings of varying heights (from 5 to 8 floors), 140 000 m² of floor space, and 2.5 ha of soft landscaped area. The rich history of the area, connected with the railway, became an inspiration and the basis of looking for the perfect urban structure. An important aspect of it is connecting the project to the surrounding greenery, as well as designing three parks-squares of various spatial character. A vital part of the project is the green belt adjacent to the PKP area, which exploits the rich history of the place as well.
